The Worst Case I’ve Ever Seen

“Am I the worst you’ve ever seen?”

This is a question I get asked a lot. Patients come in and they think that they’re probably the worst I’ve ever seen or that I’ve never seen anything quite like what they’re experiencing. And I get it… nobody wants to be the worst case senario.

Your Symptoms Don’t Make Sense

People come in and they have symptoms that don’t make sense or seem like they don’t go together. They have things like headaches, neck pain, ear pain, dizziness, sinus pressure, and on and on and on. They don’t understand how these things go together, or why they can’t get relief from them. They’re tired of it interfering with their life and they think it must be the worst case, the most complicated. They’ve been everywhere and tried everything never finding answers or relief. They feel defeated. Part of this is also because they don’t know where it came from. It just came out of the blue one day or came on slowly. They don’t realize how they could have gone from seemingly totally fine to “what the heck is wrong with me” so quickly.

Don’t Give Up Hope

It’s important to know to never give up hope and realize there is often an answer and that sometimes upper cervical chiropractic can be that answer for you, as it is for so many. So often new patients will start care in my office thinking that it’s just another box to check off their list in their search for relief. To those people I say this. It’s worth giving a try. Sometimes, all you need is a different approach to find relief. Doing things in a slightly different way gets results that you were previously unable to achieve.

Temecula - Not So “Simple” Adjustment

After their first adjustment, some patients will say to me, “That’s it? That’s the adjustment?”.

Later they’ll come back and say things like, “I don’t get it, Dr. Tina. That tiny little adjustment and everything is better. How did that work?”.

Well it’s not so tiny and it’s not always so simple, but I love that. That’s what my patients see it as…something that’s simple, and that helps them get where they want to go. Suddenly, they can see the light at the end of the tunnel. They have hope.

It’s important to keep in mind that sometimes, upper cervical chiropractic is only one piece of the puzzle. There can be complicated issues that have more than one cause  and require more than one solution. That doesn’t mean it’s time to give up on upper cervical chiropractic. It’s simply time to figure out the other missing pieces. Looking at all aspects of your life like food, hydration, sleep, and exercise.

I always tell my patients that you don’t want me to have to think a little bit extra for you. Every once in a while I’ll have someone I think a bit longer for, but rarely have I ever been to a point where I thought, “This one I’m not too sure about.”

That’s why you should never give up hope. Just keep looking for answers.
